Bucket of bacon is awesome there. It's a mix between sweet and a LITTLE spicy, try it you will love it
As a rule, they do not but if you have more than 8 in your party you can call ahead.
Could be a rolling open/closed situation. They are good and people are friendly, these are trying times for everyone, be patient, call them directly for open/closed times
Mediterranean pizza is excellent, very satisfied with orders here after like 5+ stops, only thing we really question is that some of the prices seem above avg. Excellent service & Atmosphere Also!
Fantastic breakfast restaurant from the looks and feels inside. I came here for the first time with my wife and each had some cracked eggs. The food presentation and overall flavor was on par. The only subtle knock I had was I had ordered the Eastwood with sausage instead of ham in it. When my plate arrived I was hungry and didn't want to send food back to correct it. Overall we were pleased but that minimal clerical error.
Very good breakfast. Not very crowded and it's very easy to pay and leave. Traditional menu items and sizable portions make this a very nice spot for a hearty meal. The location isn't the best however...its off the side of a main drag so not very many parking spots. This is not a huge concern as nearby Brentwood town center is only across the street and you can find a spot there. Overall, very good and very tasty---4 stars.
The best coffee!!!!☕🍳🥓 🥞🍽🍴. Very cute and clean inside. Great fun friendly place.
I saw a gnat fly past my food when I was eating. Took a while to get seated, and the waiting area is very small. Needs TVs here, nothing to look at while you wait for food. Bacon wasn’t cooked enough. Never eating here again.
We are never disappointed at the Crack'd Egg. The meal was delicious; the service was awesome. The atmosphere is lively. You should absolutely try this breakfast-brunch restaurant!
Cute little breakfast and lunch place! Service was quick and friendly. Sandwiches weren't automatically included with lettuce and tomato but I added each for 50cents with no problem.
Super friendly waitress. I love the front bar automaphere. Big countertops and comfy bar stools. Food is top notch. One of a kind! Egg-celent spot in Brentwood! Now one of my favorites in Pittsburgh.
Great service, nice people, good breakfast at a fair price... plenty of parking.... big Brentwood Towne square lot across the street....go and enjoy!!
So cute and small! Servers are friendly even when you are the rowdy table (due to new baby) they offer a mothers day deal, you cannot resist! Flowers are neatly planted and enjoyable from the tables. Their coffee is yummy, and their breakfast...omgoodness!! Just stop reading and go!
Enjoyed eating here! Delicious omelet and piping hot cheesy potatoes. The service was excellent as well.
First time there Enjoyed an order of Turkey Benedict. Mine was made with grilled "real" turkey (not deli turkey) instead of ham, over bacon, hollandaise sauce, poached eggs on English muffins. They also have regular eggs bene with ham, and 2 other versions. It was very good, and a different spin on a favorite. Others in my party had pancakes, which were good as well.
Love this place! You have to try the Tomato Basil soup-it’s the best I’ve ever had. I always get a quart to go when I stop for breakfast.Portion sizes are great and staff are super friendly! The only down side is they aren’t open for dinner.
It's a quaint little place with great food and friendly service. It is only open for breakfast and lunch and much of the menu works around eggs, of course, and breakfast foods. But there is a lunch menu
When you walk in the place almost has a diner feel to it. No frills nothing fancy just good homestyle cooked food. This place has amazing breakfast. Very reasonable prices and nice portion sizes. The only negative about the food was the orange juice tasted like tang or some other cheap concentrate. The service was moderate. The food came out slow, not to the point where I wanted to walk out, but it was still about 25 minutes after we ordered. The server was very nice and attentive. Gave great suggestions and kept our drinks refreshed. I will be back to enjoy another breakfast soon!
The food was good, but besides that everything else is horrible. I would say my meal here was sub par up until they started blasting loud country music. Not to mention the price of roughly 25 dollars when 2 of us got eggs and toast. Overall a displeasurable experience.
Great service. Decent food with quality ingredients at a good price point. 👍
Short wait for a Sunday morning and quick, friendly service. The Memorial Day weekend menu was fun and every plate came with a mini flag!
Cool restaurant! Good food and friendly, attentive staff!
Went for the Game of Thrones breakfast specials. Jon Snow chocolate pancakes with pecan praline syrup. It was good, would be willing to go back and try some other things
I went here because of the Google ratings and to try something new other than our Sunday staple of Pamela's. I ordered the pumpkin spice coffee which was decent and the sausage biscuits with home fries and a fried egg. The sausage gravy and biscuits was very good but I'm afraid the only thing we enjoyed. The home fries were very bland and tasteless. My husband ordered the Cracking and the pancakes were just ok, sausage was not good. He ended up just eating the eggs and bacon. I ordered the cinnamon roll to go and it was Abit tough and the icing was a little bland also. I rated 3 Stars for the sausage gravy alone. Over all I was disappointed given the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing this time.
Mediocre food is not worth my health. Went there in August, none of the staff had masks on. Will not be going back until they follow the mask mandate.
I like this restaurant. Very nicely decorated. I thought the food was good. We went on a Sunday around 12:00 and it was busy. Our waiter was very nice but it took a long time for our food to come out.
We went here today with a coupon from the EnjoyBook that CLEARLY stated it was good through Nov 1. Today is Nov 1 and they REFUSED to honor it?? It is a shame when you try to support a local restaurant and they shaft their guests by NOT honoring their own coupons.
The food and service are excellent. We can't wait wait to go back!
This is a great little place. Very friendly staff, cute decorations, excellent food. I really enjoyed the pumpkin spice coffee and grilled cinnamon roll. My husband had pumpkin oatmeal. It was all declicious. We will definitely return if we are in the area again!
Delicious food very nice setting.
Great food, bit pricey for the full plates but very very generous servings. The place is small/cramped so weekends can get loud, lovely place for a weekday visit.
Amazing little place! Such a cute environment, and friendly staff. Biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had! But everything in general we got was delicious!
This is above your standard diner. Food: lots of breakfast options to choose from w some good seasonal selections. Good price and food. Ordered this time the "release the cracking", a nice big breakfast to get u going all day.Atmosphere: family oriented w cozy sitting inside, a bar area, and outside sitting for fresh air or to bring your pet. Staff: friendly and attentive. You won't have to wait long for anything. I wanted a couple extra things on my meal and they were very accommodating. Easy on-street parking but if u can't park there, there's a parking lot across the street.
Chicken on a waffle with sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and bacon. Phenomenal. Great coffee makes it a 5 star for sure 👍
Good service, cozy environment, good food
Great food, Awesome environment! Small wait for a table and totally worth it!
This place has great food and it is clean and quaintly decorated. However, the staff could all use a little Zoloft. Irritation and miserable are written all over their faces and they don't try to hide it. Not welcoming. Almost no smiles. It's like being at a family dinner where everyone is fighting and miserable. Very uncomfortable.
Best place for breakfast in Brentwood! Their yogurt parfaits are like hidden gems in the menu, soooo good. They have special ones certain times of the year like banana split. I miss it so much lol. Try the berry one on the menu for sure!
Friendly service, neat atmosphere. Everything was pretty good but the whole grain toast really hit the spot haha.
First time I've been here. My breakfast was fantastic. Fries, sausage gravy, bacon and egg. Stuffed after finishing the whole thing. It was deeelicious. Great portion for the price. Comfortable, clean place. Servers were very pleasant even though we came in less than an hour before closing on Sunday.
Wait staff was fantastic and food was great. They have some unique menu choices that can spice up you breakfast routine. Only open for breakfast and lunch. BYOB. The cinnamon roll is massive and a must try! We will definitely be back to sample the lunch menu
The perfect low key breakfast place. Good food and friendly service.
This is a quaint little place right on Brownsville Road. Parking can be tricky, as it's all either on street parking or you have to park in the town center lot across the street which can be rough if it's raining. The staff are very friendly and the food (I've had breakfast and lunch) is great. I enjoy the small, more intimate atmosphere this place has to offer.
Great food and service. Will return.
New and exciting, very pleasant atmosphere and staff surroundings was good as well. Their Food is is so good, please don't take my words for it, find out yourself and experience their One of a Kind Menu. The Name speaks for itself. Would recommend to All of Pennsylvania if you haven't tried it, You're Missing Out.
Coffee was mediocre, and this place is a bit pricey, and both my and my girlfriend's omelettes had way too many onions, but the service was nice enough and the atmosphere was comfortable.
Awesome food and awesome owners. I fully support this small business.
We came to the Cracked Egg while we were waiting for work to be done on our car. We were seated and served promptly. The service was great and the food was outstanding! We ordered breakfast and the eggs were fresh and cooked perfectly and the toast was thick, perfectly toasty and delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and this restaurant is very clean and the staff friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant and we will be back again.
Fantastic food. Awesome atmosphere!!
This used to be our favorite restaurant for breakfast, but their lack of concern for their patrons and staff during the pandemic is appalling. We will not be back.
The food - one of Pittsburgh's Best. The staff - warm, friendly and attentive. Go!
Breakfast is always good. Portions are spot on and cooked to perfection. Staff is wonderfully pleasant and helpful. Food was brought out rather quickly which made the day get started faster. Only thing that didnt make me give 5 stars was the TouchTones jukebox playing Kid Rocks entire album unedited. I wouldnt normally care as I enjoy that genre of music but not at 9am, not with the sunday crowd nor at the volume it was playing. Great otherwise. Will definitely go back.
